Does Non-Restorative Sleep Lead to Fibromyalgia?

This study wasn't specifically on fibromyalgia, but the condition falls under the umbrella term of widespread pain. Also, widespread pain can sensitize the nervous system and contribute to fibromyalgia's development. We know from prior research that many cases of fibromyalgia involve non-restorative sleep. It's been a matter of some debate whether poor sleep is a symptom or cause of the condition.
