Newly Diagnosed with ME/CFS? Four Things Not to Learn the Hard way: Falling ill with ME/CFS is a real down-the-rabbit hole experience. Suddenly, your body, which has always, up to that point, had enough energy to get you through the day, allowing you to do whatever needs doing, just - doesn’t. It’s as if you’ve always made a certain amount of money and all of a sudden you’ve taken a 50% pay cut. In order to maintain a positive balance in your bank account, you must start budgeting differently; your priorities have to change.
